Active installs and downloads

  • So, I uploaded a small plugin recently and have a question about the stats.

    There’s 90+ active installs but only 37 all time downloads. How does that make sense? I guess if people were sharing the zip around separately or something but I don’t really think that’s likely.

    So yeah, just wondering if it’s a bug or am I overlooking something.

    The readme validator do not throw any error and I can’t find from the codex if I have to do something else to get the active count.

    Hope you know any tricks.
