I would like to have a region be filled with an different background color if on a specfic URL.

Each one of my region point to a different URL displaying the same map again but different details about that region. I would like to highlight that region with a different background color to indicate where users are.

I can not make this happen with CSS selectors as it seems that the region IDs (g#id-123) are only available after hovering a region.

Can this be done with free or pro somehow ?

    Thanks ??

    Hi @fuchsws
Thank you for using the plugin!

Yes, this is possible, but only in the Pro version. You can colour each region individually and you can even display content on click, no need to change page for a new map. You’ll see the features here: https://interactivegeomaps.com/features/

If you have further questions about the Pro version, please contact me here: https://interactivegeomaps.com/contact/ since these forums are only for the Free version support.

    Thank you

    Thanks for your reply.

But I actually want and require individual URLs to be loaded as different states on my map. Therefore I would need state backgrounds to be filled onload, like with an shortcode paramater, js/css selector or simimlar. is this possible using only one map with the pro version?

Yes, with a custom js snippet.
Since this would be for the Pro version, if you contact me using the link above I can provide more details. Can’t follow up here, since it’s against guidelines to discuss pro features.
    Cheers
