Active theme in wp not showing in File Manager

    I have read through some other forums but can’t seem to find any help.

    I have the Illdy theme active on my site, but I want to edit some of the content using CSS. I have tried following videos on youtube, but I get stuck because at the point where my active theme is supposed to already be under /wp-content/themes it’s not there.

    I uploaded the theme by placing a zip in there and then unzipping it. I then created a child-theme of Illdy, but this doesn’t show on my theme page inside Appearance > Themes.

    Can anybody point out where I am going wrong?
