    Hey,
is it possible to add a class – in my case ‘active’ – to the letter I just clicked?

Furthermore I would like to add a class to those letters, which have no entries.
For example: I am always showing every letter, even though there are no entries in there. It would be nice to be able to add a class to those letters as well, instead of only being able to hide them.

The last thing I’m asking is if the ‘#’ button isn’t working correctly.
When I click it it’s showing the entries of all index letters instead of only the ones with numbers.

    Hi moshpanda,

thank you for contacting me and I’m sorry for the late reply.

    * It should be possible (and not that much work) to add the active class
    * I think it’ll be also possible to add a class to an ’empty’ letter
    * I will check the ‘#’ button.

Thanks for reporting and as soon as I have an update, I’ll be posting here again ??

    Kind regards,

    Hi moshpanda,

I will release v1.7.10 in a few minutes. It will contain two new classes which you can use, name_directory_active and name_directory_empty, I hope you’ve been helped with this.
    Thanks again for contributing!

I cannot reproduce your bugreport on the # button, can you please elaborate on this?

    Kind regards and enjoy v1.7.10,

    Hey Jeroen,

thank you very much for adding this feature ??

I will update the plugin and see if this fixes the problem with the ‘#’.
I think it is intended to show just the entries that start with a number, right? For me it shows every entry there is – like a ‘show all entries’-button.

Once again, much thanks for adding the active/inactive functionality ??

    With much thanks,

    Jannik

thank you for pointing this out, now I know what you mean and can organise my testenvironment accordingly.

I hope the classes bring you what you need ??

It’s been verified, the #-link. I created WND-40 (in my own Jira) for it. I hope to fix it within the hour

    Hi moshpanda,

no problem, these are good additions so thank you for contributing! If you like the plugin, would you consider writing a review?

    Kind regards,

Hello, Jeroen. Love the plug in. I used it for my site Trumpdictionary.com. Was hoping to find out if there was a compatible plug in I could use to place Like/Dislike buttons after or for each directory entry. I don’t want to change to a dictionary plugin – I rather stick with yours. If anyone else has feedback it would be appreciated. Thanks! Also would like use share buttons.

    Hi monkey13,

unfortunately there is no known (facebook) Like button extension for this plugin. There was a rating-system-request earlier, but I haven’t implemented that. The plugin isn’t extensible just yet. I’m sorry, but I think you do have to make a modification if you want to use a Like/Dislike button.

Hey, thanks for getting back me to my friend. I appreciate it! Best,
