  • An ad banner with an implausibly small “x” target, guaranteeing that you’ll hit the click-thru? Seriously?

    You’re marketing people, I get that you’re soulless automatons with no ability to feel empathy, but could you at least try not to imitate spank-the-monkey banners from the ’90s?

    Uninstalled. I’ll find a more ethical way to try to increase readership.

    Thanks for your comment.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so we listened to our community and yesterday we publicly apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused to our users (link to Twitter) and released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
