Ad group rotation in multiple blocks

    Hi.

    I am looking for an ad management for WordPress, and I found your system.

    But I need to know if you have these features:

    1) Take a look here, in the sidebar: https://youtu.be/V6JtxUhgMtE
    Create an add group of unlimited number of ads, and then show these ads in a block showing 2-3-4-5 ads from the ad group at the same time (etc underneat each other), rotation, without showing the same ad at the same time. So not just rotation in one position. But in multiple positions. One of your competitor that I was looking at too only offered to show a rotation ads from one ad group in one location/one block/position).

    2) Your live rotations, do they work on mobile devices too? Your competitor did not do this either..

    On your website you write:

    But I want to rotate ads from the same ad group in multiple spots rotating, without showing the same ad on the same time in two spots.

    Sorry for all these comment, but my question is basically this:

    Can I combine these two features?

    Rotate ads on the same spot to fight ad blindness or test different ads against each other.

    AND

    Increase the visibility of ads using an ad slider or ad grid with multiple rows.

    So combine “rotating ads” and “ad grid with multiple rows”?

    Thanks for reaching out and for the well-documented explanation of your need.

    I think I use Advanced Ads on my websites like you are asking here.

    In my content, I have injected via shortcode several identical manual placements. I assign the same group, which contains a lot of ads with particular conditions, to it. In this way, there is the same group on each of such pages several times.

    To prevent that now, on several placements, the same ad of the same group appears multiple times, I activate for each ad the function “Display only once“, which comes with Advanced Ads Pro.

    You can do the same on your sidebar and put the same group multiple times (#1, #2, #3, #4) and by enabling the “display only once” function, ensure that no ad is displayed twice.

    Hi kennethhede,

    I don’t use the Refresh ads on the same spot feature for this setup and reload the ads on all positions with every page impression.

    I don’t recommend combining refreshing ads and the “display only once” option.

    The reason is the way the refreshing option works. Once an ad has been loaded into the refreshing loop at one placement, it is considered as “displayed”. So it will not be displayed again on a different placement on the same page, even if it is temporarily not displayed in the refreshing group.

    So if you integrate, e.g., three ads into one group with activated refresh (ad1, ad2, ad3) and include this group (or a duplicate of this group) twice in the sidebar (placement 1 & 2), the following happens:

    For example, with the first page impression, ad1 is loaded on placement 1 and ad2 on placement 2. Then the refresh takes place. After that ad 3 is loaded on placement 1, and placement 2 remains empty. The reason is that technically ad1 and ad2 are already on the page (due to the rotation). The enabled “display only once” option suppresses displaying these ads twice.

    Since you can’t use the refresh option together with ad grids, this means for your setup that you have to choose either refresh or display only once.

    Ok, I’m sorry to hear that..

    I find it really strange that no-one is offering this in WordPress..

    In Joomla a lot of ad add-ons offer this ??

    And my customer is migrating from Joomla to WordPress.

    No chance that you can make this feature?

    I am sorry that I had to be the bearer of bad news here. Unfortunately, the integration you had in mind does not work for technical reasons. The best way to get such a development going is to write a feature request.
