(Ad Health) AdSense violation: Ad is hidden – Using Mesocolumn theme

    When using Adblock Plus, Firefox 59.0, and Tracking Protection enabled…I get this;

    Using the Mesocolumn theme and the “Second Post Loop” in its advertisement section in customizer using Advanced Ads shortcode throws the “Ad is hidden” violation in Ad Health.

    Using Advanced Ads “after content” placement does not throw that particular violation.

    I haven’t tested all possibilities as those are the only two that I have tested so far with that particular theme.

    1. Using Advanced Ads manual placement shortcode in Mesocolumn’s second post loop. (Throws the “Ad is Hidden” violation).

    2. Using Advanced Ads after content placement (DOES NOT throw the “Ad is Hidden” violation).

    thanks for reaching out.

    The warning indicates, that the “Second Post Loop” position is only hidden, when it doesn’t show up. This is fine for most types of content, but not for ads. I can verify that if you sent me the URL.

    I am wondering if I use the In-feed Placement plugin for Advanced Ads if that may be a better alternative in this situation?

    Rather than using the after post loop’s in that theme.

    I don’t know exactly what the “Second Post Loop” position of the placement is for, but at least our add-ons are not hiding ads in a way that is against the AdSense policy.

    I would suggest giving our In-Feed add-on a try and see if this fixes the issue.
