Ad-hoc Backup Never Runs

    Hi there – I’ve been trying to complete a backup for days. I press “Backup ASAP” and get a notice that an ad-hoc backup will complete in a few hours. I check a few hours later and the dashboard still says “There are no backups currently stored. Why not run a backup now?.” How do I run an instant backup and confirm that it worked?

    Have you turned on debugging and checked the log?

    Got also something like this. Did look at the log. Did not come further then this:

    “[date/time] Scheduled ASAP backup in 60 seconds..”

    That log you get and that all of it… even after an hour…

    “define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );” The only way around it seems this.
    But will corrupt correct running with DreamPress resultion in chron errors.

    I like simple light solution but this bugs me.

    define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

    if add this for short moment to wp-config.php then will runn backup here.
