ad to appear only once

Is there a way I can have the ad show up only once during a visit? I need the ad to appear the first time a user comes to the site, but when they go to another page, it will not appear. I know about the setting where if the user closes the ad, it will not appear again for 24 hours. I would like it so it shows up on the first page visited but not at any other without any action by the user.
