• I’m trying to add a button to my menu. I’m using the plugin for the shortcode. It is not working at all. I’m using BE theme. What do I do?

    Hi Chris,

    Do you mean in the WordPress menu? That one doesn’t acccept shortcodes so it wouldn’t work. However you can try to use this plugin which should fix that for you – https://www.www.ads-software.com/plugins/shortcode-in-menus/

    Let me know if that works.

    Wel, I tried that, but didn’t work. Actually, when I save the shortcode, I don’t see it anymore. I tries using a plugin called max menu. I deleted it, but when I save my menu, I see “maxmenu” as a property of my menu item that I put the shortcode.Strange!

    I don’t know about max menu.

    With the mentioned plugin make sure you see an option for ‘shortcode’ (under boxes) . Otherwise go to ‘screen options’ and make sure it’s turned on. As well as ‘description’ under advanced options in the same menu.

    Put the shortcode in the description, then add to menu. With me it works this way.
