    Dear,

In the admin, I see the full list of orders. However, the column “date” that we currently have is always adapted if a modification is made in the order.

How can I have the order creation date in a column? This is the date that matters to me!

    THanks

    Hello there,
Are you talking about this date?

This is the Order Created date and it does not change based on what you change in the order unless of course, you change the Order created date.

I just tested to confirm this.

Yes that’s the column I talk about.

This column always shows the last modified date. But we dont care about when it was last modified.. we want there the date of creation!

How can I have a new column with creation date? That’s what matters to me, to organize my orders by the oldest because the LIST is not necessarily by oldest since any order go to the top of the list when it’s updated.

Either you should stop moving orders to the top (to keep them always in chronological order) or you add a new column creation date

    Can you please help?
    Thanks

As I said earlier, that date is the creation date and it does not change based on when you edit the order. I tested it personally to confirm.

If that is happening, it is likely due to a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
