Add a comment field to MailChip form

Can you explain what you mean by a comment field? Do you mean a field where users can enter whatever text they’d like?

Have you tried creating a MailChimp “text” field and name it something like “comments”? Will that work for you?

The form was created using EasyForms on wordpress. It only allows me to add pre-selected fields.

To add new fields to Easy Forms, you need to login to mailchimp (mailchimp.com) and define merge fields for your list. Once you add these fields in MailChimp, you will see the changes reflected in Easy Forms in WordPress.

Also, we cache your MailChimp.com data in WordPress, so if you’re actively making changes in MailChimp and want to see the changes right away in WordPress, you’ll need to clear your API cache.
