Add a custom link to the “by author” link found in posts

Even now, it’s not working as designed. It’s supposed to show all posts by the author but is taking me back to homepage. I just want the author link to be my about us page.

Why don’t you just redirect the Author page to any page you like? Using a plugin like Redirection, maybe? Anyway, this article might help you on this matter.

Regarding the Author link that is taking you to the homepage, it’s not happening on my dev site. It takes me to the Author page. Refer to this video, please.

Thank you for the response @bsfherman , but I have tried all kinds of redirection already and it doesn’t work. I even updated the theme to latest but still the same issue.

I have opened a ticket regarding this issue but sadly haven’t seen any response. It’s been 3 days.

Sorry for that, we are having a massive number of tickets in our Support Portal, that’s why.

If you can share with me your ticket ID, maybe I can expedite it. You can find the ticket ID in the automated email we sent after you submitted the ticket.

@bsfherman thanks for the response, here’s the ticket ID: 267629. Ticket was submitted 21 November and last response from BSF was 2 days ago.

Issue fixed after ticket was resolved. It was an issue with a SEO plugin called rank math “author archives”.
