Add a link not working

    The add a link button is not working. I highlight the text I want to link, click the insert/add a link icon, type the URL in, and press “add link” but absolutely nothing happens. Any idea what could be wrong?

  • Its most likely a javscript conflict with a plugin you have installed or a theme you are using.

    Try deactivating plugins one at a time and re-try the add link button after deactivating each one.

    You should be able to find the culprit. If you reach the end of deactivating all plugins and the problem persists, try switching to a default bundled WordPress theme such as twenty fourteen.

    Thanks for your help…you were right. When I deactived my East Recipe plug in it fixed the problem.
