Please tell me, is it possible to add not only images, but also videos to the product preview? If so, how do I do it? The link to the video is in the CSV file, but where to register it in the WP All Import plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @valerymd

I think this question has more to do with WooCommerce itself.

From what I see, there are various plugins to add the ability to put videos in your product preview gallery – https://barn2.com/woocommerce-product-video-gallery/

    Hope this helped

    Hey @valerymd,

I’d have to see how the video information is stored in the database to advise on importing the same. Please manually set up a product with a video in the gallery on a sandbox site at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then open a support request at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the sandbox site URL, a copy of your import file, and a brief description of what you’re trying to do.

Good afternoon! The thing is, I do not know where to enter the video preview link. The only place I can register it is in images, but then nothing is simply displayed.

By default, I don’t believe WooCommerce supports videos in the gallery.

If you add a plugin for this functionality (and assuming it uses the same database row as gallery images) then passing the video URL to WooCommerce image field would work.

Alternatively, you could upload the videos to YouTube, have the URL in your import, and put an embed in the product description.

Found a solution! I installed the WP Video Gallery plugin and in the WP All import settings, in the “Custom Fields” line, I selected the name “_nickx_video_text_url” and in the value a link to a YouTube video. Thanks to everyone who helped! I hope my decision will be useful to someone.
