Add a ‘new’ badge on the thumbnails for new products

I want to add a badge/logo with the text ‘new’ or in Dutch ‘nieuw’ to let customers know that it is a new product that is recently added.
I read a lot of CSS codes, but none of them are working and are outdated.
Is there a plugin or option in Astra that I can use to add a ‘new’ badge in the thumbnails?
