Hello, I have created a new type of user with the role editor plugin. How can I allow this new user to manage the panoramic view? I think only the administrator can and for security reasons I don’t want to give admin access to manage this. Thank you

Try this, in the iPanorama “General Settings” you can set permission for Admin, Editor, Author, and subscriber. If you want to let “Editors” work with iPanorama, try giving the role “Editor” = “ALL” access. Clicking the button rotates through the options.

You can specify a “Group” also, I don’t know how those work, but sounds like you could create a “iPanorama Editors” group with your plugin, then go to settings and add that group, so not all editors can edit in iPanorama.

Sorry, doesn’t look like groups work that way… what I found:

Control Permissions for Authors and Editors The plugin gives you a way to edit the access for wp roles to create virtual tours. Only selected roles can modify virtual tours. Each selected role can have one state from this list: ‘private’, ‘group’, ‘all’ private – you can create & edit only your items.

Group – you can create & edit the group items

All – you can create & edit all items (from any group, including admin items)
