Add a sub catagory

  • Hiya total comp novice here, I have a site up n running now and have catagories.. Ie Stories.. Rather than each new story be on my front page, i wish to have sub catagories ie. Monday, listed under my stories catagory, to enable people to click and select which ever story they wish to read?? hope this makes sense… Can any one help ??

    when you create a category, you have the option to assign it to a parent category

    Thankyou i have done that but only the main catagory STORY is on my homepage, how can i get my sub-catagories on there too to enable folks to click on them……………..

    i think i have sussed it but how can i get rid of previous entry, next entry on top of my stories home page now?? lol

    I’m a first timer to blogging – I need advice: When I try and assign it to a parent, I get “Catagory Note Updated” for all 5 of my only 5 catatories that only appear in my admin and not on my site. Ending up with no catagories? Do you think its my theme not compat and should I upgrad to 2.8.4? Thanks much from westsidenotes.com in the making.
