• Hi,
Please add a way to change the color of WooCommerce buttons without CSS editing.

I guess lots of woocommerce users want to do it – but don’t want to manually change the CSS code.

I’m using Twenty Twenty-Two theme and the buttons are green and looks strange.

    Thanks!
    Ram

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Please add a way to change the color of WooCommerce buttons without CSS editing

Design aspects of a WordPress site (like button colors) are controlled by the theme, not WooCommerce. There are a lot of themes you can use to create a WooCommerce store, Twenty Twenty-Two is one of them. I can also suggest you look into our Storefront theme if you’re looking for a theme built specifically for WooCommerce.

I’m using Twenty Twenty-Two theme and the buttons are green and looks strange.

That is one of that theme’s primary colors. As this theme uses the new full site editing features, to change it:

    • go to Appearance > Editor
    • open the Styles sidebar by clicking the half white/black circle icon in the upper right
    • then click Colors > Palette > ⋮ > Edit colors > Primary to change it (check the image below for context)
    • this will change that green everywhere it’s used, not just the WooCommerce buttons

I really appreciate your detailed reply.

Still if there was a way within woocommerce to edit the color of WooCommerce buttons and not everywhere in the site.

Any way – Thanks. you helped me alot.

    Hi @ramf

As explained previously by Paulo, the color of the buttons is not a feature that WooCommerce handles per se. WooCommerce is a plugin created to work on a WordPress installation.

The Theme selected on your site is the entity responsible for the layout, colors, etc.

Please be sure to select a theme that fits your needs, customize it as explained above, or implement a CSS workaround (that might change a little depending on the theme).

    I hope this provides clarity.
