    copy your header.php into your child theme folder. Edit it, and paste your html ad code before

    <div class="site-logo">

    It worked!! a few more questions:

    1) Its too big for mobile, how do I make it responsive. If I add the mobile header, its too small for desktop.

    2) How can I had square ads BETWEEN posts? Like every three posts on a page.

    Hi there,
    you must use a responsive AD from your provider in order to do that.

    Also you might need to check for a WordPress plugin for that kind of customization.

    You will need a plugin for this.

    Try searching the plugin repository for ad injection plugins.
