Are you able to provide a bit more information?

For example, let’s say I have an issue with a gallery I’m using. How will you know what plugin I am using, or if I’m even using a plugin? Or perhaps the theme I’m using has some special gallery feature that you may not know about? You can’t know that unless I provide those details, correct?

• Active plugins
• Active theme; is it a child theme?
• Is it a default WordPress installation
• What version of plugin, theme, WordPress is being used?
• Have you modified anything
• What have you tried? editing code, installing plugins?

These details matter. We want to help, we do, but we cannot help is we don’t know more information. Simply saying you want to add a link does not provide information, just like a check engine light doesn’t tell me what exactly is wrong with the engine.
