Hello, I am trying to add support for afterpay into the plugin but could not find any option to do so in the setting! is there any possibility to do that by modifying the code or add some code snippet?

While chating with the Stripe support they advice us to change the payment_method_types from card to automatic_payment_methods or add the afterpay_clearpay to the payment_method_types.

And while looking at the plugin code I can see that the option is passed in the woocommerce-gateway-stripe\includes\abstracts\abstract-wc-stripe-payment-gateway.php file.

Is it safe to do the change here? can it be done somewhere else?

Please let me know if you have any suggestion.

I understand you want to integrate Stripe with Afterpay. From my understanding, Afterpay is its own payment gateway for instalments so I’m not sure how/if it can be integrated with Stripe.

Since support for Afterpay is handled by their team, we need to forward your request to them. Please open a ticket about this from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support.

Make sure to include a link to this thread so we know what has been done already. ??

So I am here talking about the afterpay or what is known as clearpay provided from stripe not from it’s own payment gateway, please see the links below with the details about it from stripe.

Hi,

I understand you would like to know if Afterpay can be integrated with the WooCommerce Stripe extension.

While Afterpay is an option on Stripe side, at this time, it is not a payment option supported while using our payment gateway.

The options available are:?https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#additional-payment-methods

I am positive Afterpay will be integrated in the future, I really don’t have the ETA to know more details. There is a survey online where you will be able to vote to add it as a new feature.
