However, that’s a really bad idea, because such links tend to lead to lots of spam.

Your best bet is to install a contact form plugin. A form that visitors can fill out does a better job of hiding your email address from spammers.

kjodle, thanks for your advice. I had a look for a “Contact Form” on the ‘Plug Ins’ list but could not see anything, am I looking in the wrong place?
