“add an interactive story” causes editor to time out

  • I am editing a page I have never had a problem with before. I want to add a separator block but when I search blocks it pops “Add an interactive story” with an animated gif over a stylised phone image.

    _Eventually_ that page times out.

    Thoughts on what might be going on

    What you’re describing isn’t a part of WordPress itself.

    What plugin is adding the?“Add an interactive story” functionality?

    Ok, thanks. I don’t think it is a plugin, I suspect it is the theme.

    It seems to be causing problems every time I display the list of available blocks.

    Does the issue continue if you switch to the Twenty Twenty-Three theme?

    If you can install plugins, install?Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in?without affecting normal visitors to your site.
