    Hello there!

For your plugin I need to add 2 additional fields: name and phone number. They are needed for moderation and should not be in the post itself.

I have included the name field in the settings (it goes first). The phone number, I think, can be added as an usp_custom_field. And then I ran into 2 problems:

    1. I can’t make an usp_custom_field a second field (after the author’s name).

    2. I do not know how can I do field validation? So that in the phone number field you can enter exactly the number, and not any characters.

Can you help me with this?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi @altcreative,

The free version of USP supports one custom field only. The pro version supports unlimited custom fields and everything else. If you have any further questions about the free version of USP, feel free to post on this thread. Or if you have any questions about the pro version, please send them via the contact form at Plugin Planet (as the forums here at www.ads-software.com do not allow questions about pro versions of plugins). Thank you.

Thanks for the answer. You can tell these options:

    1. I can’t make an usp_custom_field a second field (after the author’s name)?

    2. I do not know how can I do field validation? So that in the phone number field you can enter exactly the number, and not any characters?

    Glad to help:

    1) The only way to change the order of the fields (with the free version) is to set up and use the custom form. You can find complete steps to do it on the Installation page.

    2) By default the plugin provides basic validation via the free Parsley.js script. I’m not sure what else may be possible, but you may be able to implement phone-number validation by following the Parsley docs along with custom USP form.
