Add attribute to ALL products

I have site with lots of products already added to it. I now need all existing products and any new products that I add on the site to have a new default attribute called “Identifier Exists” with a universal value of “FALSE”. The attribute entry shouldn’t be visible on the front end of the site.
Can you please help me do this, as obviously you can do this via front end for individual products but I need to apply this to all products.
