Add avatar image in one shortcode

    Hello,

    I have this shortcode in a page :

    [publishpress_authors_list layout=”authors_index” group_by=”last_name” order=”desc”]

    I have 2 questions:

    • I’d like to add the avatar image before the name. How can I do?
    • Why the filter / order of the letters is not the right one? B-C-S-P-Q-M… Would be better B C M P Q S (but I’d like to keep the last name grouping like this).

    Thanks for using PublishPress.

    1. That will not be possible insert avatar into existing shortcode. It will need another shortcode
    2. It seems I cannot replicate your issue. I tried using the same shortcode and it sort alphabetically in the filter. You can check it here: https://ed-tarsier-dazi.instawp.xyz/author-list/

    There will be no shortcode that aligns with your need at the moment. You will need some custom code to modify the author index layout template.

    For the second point, the site already expired. But we are not able to replicate the issue. You can try deactivating other plugins to see if it’s plugins conflicting
