Add backupwp Seafile support / sftp

    Hello, I use this excellent plugin for many websites and I find it very useful.
    I’d like to have the possibility to send backup into my seafile drive, wich is a dropbox-like storage utility, but open source. Thats because I’d like to put my backups on my own servers.

    Also, using sftp for file transfer via ssh would be nice. ftp is buggy and unencrypted.

    Is there a chance one of the two will be implemented?

    Great plugin, love it! Why -oh why does it not support SFTP though? Please consider adding SFTP support soon.

    Sorry, no news yet. I do definitely think it is a good idea and we will be discussing it. However at the moment there are features with higher priority. We’ll keep you updated. ??

    SFTP functionality is on our roadmap and will come in a future version, no time estimation yet, but after some high priority task, we will take care of it. ??

    I hope nobody mind to have this ticket as resolved then.

    Good to hear that! I’ll keep following for updates!

    Great plugin, super easy configuration of backup jobs! I like backWPup. Support for SFTP would be a great feature, because some hosters don’t support SSL-FTP and uncrypted FTP is no good choice under safety aspects. I also hope you will implement it sometime.
