add banner in category

You can add a category image from Products > Categories > [Your Category] > Thumbnail – https://snipboard.io/rCuhxV.jpg
If images are uploaded correctly, but not showing on the frontend, that means your theme is probably designed that way. You can either contact the theme developer directly for assistance or switch to a theme that supports category image.

Alternatively, you can modify the theme to enable it:

where should i add this line of code? by just changing the category thumbnail it a banner does not show above the products in each category
