Add blog headlines to static page in tag

I have a static homepage (www.classicmalibu.com) and I’m trying to create a list within a <td> tag of the blog news headlines, or even the text before the -more- tag within the blog. (see here for rough example of my desired finished result: https://classicmalibu.com/wp-forum-example/)
I’m fairly html savvy, but php is beyond me. I’ve tried simply inserting the blog URL but it contains the css etc and so is not formatted with the rest of the page and is too wide.
I have a suspicion that it isn’t as easy as my naive mind can grasp and will involve adapting .php and css files / pages, but you guys are the gurus and I was hoping you could suggest something.
