    Hiya,

We’re a small club who has been using Events Manager for about 8 years to power our show calendar and we love it. We don’t use it to allow online bookings, just on a very basic level. I was delighted to find that cancelled status was added recently.

Here’s my question: would it be possible to add a class to a cancelled event instead of hiding it?

Using this shortcode to display events: [events_list_grouped mode=”monthly” limit=”7″ pagination=”1″]

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • By default cancelled events are hidden. You can change that in Events –> Settings –> Tab pages –> Section Event lists/Archives –> “Including cancelled events”.

Than you can use the conditional placeholder is_cancelled (https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/conditional-placeholders/#is_cancelled) to change its css class, but how that is done depends on which event list you are using.

@krambie thanks for this quick reply. Is this a pro feature? Happy to go pro, just never needed it before. I cannot see this in my Event Lists/Archives?section.

No it is also in the free version. In the Event List/Archives section you have to scroll down to the subsection “General settings” and there is the item “Include cancelled events”.

In order to see the “Including cancelled events” option you first need to enable event status.
