    Hello,
I am calling custom categories in dynamic field in the divi theme builder for showing my custom post item. I really would like to be able to add a specific class to each categorie so I could add some icons. (ex Vegetable / Weather-element)
I am able to add the category name/slug to body class, but not enough for my needs. Is there a way to add an html value or a class ? someting like instead of returning just the name, returning <span class=”custom category slug”>custom category name etc ?
Is it possible with the extended version ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you really much.

    Hi,

We don’t have anything like that in either the free plugin or the CPTUI-Extended premium plugin.

Just in case you hadn’t yet, have you looked around the UI settings for this dynamic field stuff to see if they have anywhere to add custom classes per field? or is it like one module/block/etc that is generating a lot of these dynamic fields?

Might be worth reaching out to Divi support to see if there’s any way they know of to do this with their builder set up, and if there’s any output customization hooks available.

Lastly, there may be some classes already output that are unique per field, but I’m also going on a hunch that you’ve already inspected that much.

Thank you for your taking time to reply to me ?? Yes I checked, I can add a class to the container, but this class is not dynamic but static. I will try to find a solution ??
