Add colored tables in HTML to lessons

Hi, I’m looking for a way to add tables with borders and background color to my lessons. Whatever table format I add gets overridden by the native CSS of the LearnPress plugin. Is there a plugin, like SiteOrigin that works within the LearnPress lessons’ editor backend? For starters, SiteOrigin does not work, maybe there’s a way to allow this plugin to work on lessons’ editor?
