Hello – how do I add columns? I would like a three column layout. I’ve moved widgets in place, but they do not show up on the page.

Hello. It uses different columns for posts/pages/front page.
    ‘Left sidebar’ appears on posts/archives
‘Pages, Left sidebar’ appears on pages
‘Home page, Left sidebar’ appears on front page

You can switch on/off sidebars by placing widgets into it.

I think I see how it’s supposed to work, but it just doesn’t. I’ve added widgets to the sidebar, but no matter what I do they don’t show up at all or as a column view. Also, the template of “left” or “right” sidebar in pages doesn’t appear to do anything.

There is a demo-site with current version of the theme at https://wpblogs.ru/themes/jolene/ with all page templates and sidebars filled and I have tested colums on local server. It works for me. I use WordPress 4.0. and 4.1. What is a version of your WordPress? And how big your screen?

There are no columns at WooCommerce pages. (functions.php, line 420 & 493)

Hi, nice theme, aspecially the different menu’s, I could use it very well. I have one problem though. I can’t put 4 images in a row on the dashboardpage of my website. I think a classes”row” is the solution, but I don’t know anything about programming PHP. Could you make an updated php-file for me that I can upload to the server?

Hello wwwim. You could use a widget with 4 colunms in sidebars (“Appearance >> widgets”) and gallery with 4 columns in content area.

I am having the same issues pretty much. I want to have a 3 column site like what is shown in the preview image but it seems no matter what I do it don’t work. If I add something to the left side, Whatever I had on the right side gets taken out. Same thing if I swap things around. It is only letting me use a 2 column site… ??

After looking at your demo it doesn’t even have 3 columns like the sample photo shows…Are you having the same problem now?

Hello! It has 3 columns on screens with 1366px resolution and large. Minimal width of content area is 749px (on the screen with resolution below 749px it is smaller) and column’s width is 300px (300px+300px+749px = 1349px). This is a responsive theme, the number of columns depends on the monitor resolution.

I am having the same problem. I want 3 columns on ALL pages -home page AND all subsequent pages. I can easily get the left column to appear, or the right column – but NOT both columns at the same time! I suspect it has to do with column widths. On the template is states the max widths should be 1349 – so that is what I have the “Page Template Full Width Wide: Content Width” set at. What should the settings be to be able to have a WORKING 3-column layout? Please give the correct settings for ALL Content Width settings! TIA,

    Coleen

P.S. here is my site (I’ve just started, so I am still working on content.)

Also, where is the main style sheet? There is a problem with the header text and link color. I can change it in the Customize panel, but it ALWAYS reverts back to white as the Tagline text color and GREEN (YUCK!) as the hover color for the links! I can’t find the style sheet in the Customize editor list to be able to change those colors!

@coleen – please start your own thread per the forum guidelines – even if you think you have the same question, it’s MUCH more difficult to have multiple conversations in the same thread – you can start a new one here:

    Okay – done. Thank you.
