Add company information

  • Hello
    We have a request from a customer who wants to add in her company name. In the woocommerse setup that is a selection you can set and not making it a mandatory field.
    How do I do that in the vipps chechout form

    There is currently no support for company name in the input fields of the Vipps Checkout screen.

    I’ve forwarded your request/interest for this to the checkout team, but there is no guarantee it will match with their development plans.

    There is no data field for company name in Vipps profiles, sorry. Adding it in Vipps Checkout is, unfortunately, not trivial.

    There should be at least a hook in this plugin then to hide “Fornavn” to the user then pre-fill it with something like “Firma” because it is a required field. Then change the “Etternavn” field’s placeholder to “Firmanavn”.

    Because the Vipps Checkout flow is inside an iframe, it is not possible to do this in the plugin. We can only open the Checkout and await the result.
