Add Content Editor Back into Custom Theme Page

  • I have not created the page yet. I am not super familiar with php, so i cannot figure out what the programmer did to make it so all the pages (excluding the blog posts) cannot be edited through the default WP block or classic editor – instead, all pages have to be hand coded in a code editor. Is it possible to create a template that will allow me to make use of this native WP function again? Where should i be looking in the theme files? page.php? functions.php? And what am i looking for?
