    Hello dear developers!
    Could you add support to the plug-in Republic of Kazakhstan?
    When I select my country in woocommerce, your plugin automatically turns off. There is paypal support in my country.
    Thank you for understanding.

    @daradan I have not been able to replicate this. I set my store to have the country of Kazakhstan, along with the currency of the Kazakhstani tenge, but the extension did not deactivate itself.

    When trying to make a purchase, I did get a 10605 error from PayPal, but that is because my PP account is set up for USD and not KZT. Can you confirm your currency is set to KZT and your PP account is also set for KZT?

    Maybe I’m not right. My steps:
    – I choose the currency kzt;
    – the country I choose Kazakhstan;
    – I turn on Paypal payment, but the message “Gateway is disabled: PayPal does not support the currency of your store.” pops up;
    – if I choose the currency “Russian ruble”, then PayPal payment is included.
    P.S. the currency in PayPal is in my usd, because the currency itself is not there, there is a conversion. Perhaps because of this ?!

    @daradan I think I see what’s happening here. I was able to replicate your error, but it was through PayPal Standard that comes with WooCommerce itself, not the PayPal Checkout extension.

    I tried a transaction with PayPal Checkout, which returned this error:

    [L_ERRORCODE0] => 10605
    [L_SHORTMESSAGE0] => Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details.
    [L_LONGMESSAGE0] => Receiving country does not support the transaction currency.
    [L_SEVERITYCODE0] => Error

    This sent me digging and I found this page:
    https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/reference/currency-codes/

    It appears that PayPal themselves only support the currency on that page for API based transactions, which would be anything posting from WooCommerce to PayPal. In order to be able to use PayPal (Standard or Checkout), your store’s currency would need to be one of the currencies listed.

    Sorry for confusing the plugin.
    I have to use converters to use PayPal further.
    Thanks for the help and time spent!

    @daradan No problem, and sorry I missed that it wouldn’t work the first time I looked ??
