    Hi there,

First off, thanks for this plugin.

Now in our Woocommerce-setup we’re using Euro’s instead of Dollars.

Do i need to add the currency symbol to a Tier cost?
Does it matter if i use a period or comma before the decimal? (Ex. our woocommerce setting for the price is € 1.234,00)

Add.: We have a limit for 0-12 items and 12+ items. Hence i’ve set a 1st Tier for 0-12 items. The 2nd Tier for 12+ items i’ve set at a quantity of 99999. Would this work?

    Peace, Edwin

    Hello Edwin,
Regarding currency, I’ll have to experiment. I’m assuming that WC takes care of that and I’ve made no provisions otherwise.

Your two-tier strategy should work; and you can disable the remaining tiers. This new 2.0 release will show you a shipping table at the bottom of the setting page that you can use to confirm that your saved settings create the shipping table you intend.

    Thanks for the fast reply,

I’ve tested some and it seems the currency doesn’t really matter as indeed WC handles it. Thanks for confirming upping the quantity on the 2nd tier should work.

Good luck on the dev for v2.0 and thanks again for the plugin in the first place! Cheers, Ed’

Thanks for confirming that WC is handling concurrency. Glad 2.0’s new features are useful for your site.

Thanks again for your question. It got me to thinking about the shipping costs table that appears at the end of the settings section. That table is assuming USA currency. I found a WC function, wc_format_localized_price, that will allow me to display this table according to your WV currency specifications. I’ll add that enhancement to a future release of this plugin so that the plugin is even more internationalized.
