Add Custom Buttons

    We only use this file login-template.php to display the login form so adding that code there will be of no use.
    The change should be made in WordPress/wp-login.php > https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-login.php
    But we do not recommend this.

    I made this change and it works, why you do not recommend this?

    Happy to hear it worked!

    We do not recommend editing and changing WordPress’ files because when it gets updated, it will overwrite the code you added and delete it. Also, modifying the WordPress’ files can have unintended consequences.
