    Hi,

your Plugin, as well as the addicion for WooCommerce are awesome and intiutive to use. Thanks for that.

We want to use our company font in the automated emails like we do with our mails sent by us via outlook.

Is there a way to implement our custom font to the email templates?

    Cheers,
    Janos

  • which font?
is it a “web save font” which is available on all recipients computer or a web font?
Webfonts have very poor support in emails.

    Hey Hannes,

we would like to use our custom font which is stored on our server (not a google font).

    Any possibilities?

    Cheers, Janos

    Hey Hannes,

Just wanted to quickly say great plugin!

We also had a question about font which we would like to use the font Cinzel for our emails and are hoping that there is indeed a way to add these! If not no worries!

I can add a filter do enqueue custom fonts to the editor but as long as you can’t be sure every recipient of your emails has the font installed you can’t use a custom font. Using webfonts is currently only supported by

    Apple Mail
    iOS Mail
    Google Android
    Samsung Mail (Android 8.0)
    Outlook for Mac
Outlook App (this is not the normal Outlook)

These are the global usage stats of email clients:

    Gmail, 27.8%
    Apple iPhone, 27.6%
    Outlook, 9.1%
    Apple iPad, 8.5%
    Apple Mail, 7.5%
    Yahoo! Mail, 6.3%
    Google Android, 2.5%
    Outlook.com, 2.3%

With Gmail and Outlook missing about 40% of your recipients do not see your webfont.

    Hey @melleybeanbeauty and @herzensangelegenheit
Although this is an old topic we have some interesting news for you. We have a beta for a webfont addon now. With this extension you can use around 1000 different Google Fonts in your WordPress emails and choose fallback fonts for those email clients which do not support webfonts.
If you want to try it you can find an article about it containing a beta request here: Article: Webfonts in WordPress emails
