    hello,

I want to add a custom font that I downloaded somewhere. I have the ttf file.
I want to use the custom font with the tinymce text editor.
I found posts explaining how to do that, but it sounds quite complicated ( have to add code, and the explanations are not very clear).
so I found another solution : just doing a copy/paste from Word.
When you do that, it will add some html code, and your text shows with the font you want.
however, the font is not uploaded in any folder on the server. So I am a bit skeptical. I don’t understand why the text still shows with the custom font. IS it because the custom font is installed on my C: and my website goes to this folder on the C: to find the font ?
What is the difference with having the custom font uploaded in the font folder, and the font available from the font list in the text editor ?
I’m afraid that with that solution, it won’t show with the custom font on others browsers.

Yes. Don’t paste content from Microsoft Word into WordPress as the pasted text will also contain Word’s own formatting. Sooner or later, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all) in Internet Explorer.

Are you trying to use another font on the front end of your site?
