Add Custom Product to Order

    Is it possible to add a custom name to a product when adding to the order? The scenario is, I have a product called Custom Product, but when I add to an order, I want to give it a different name.

    Note: I am creating orders via Rest API only. (not frontend or backend)

    It’s not currently possible to do this (changing name of a product when creating a product using the API).

    Thanks. I meant when creating an order via the API, is it possible to put a custom name for the line item?

    Your best option would be to test it out – while it may theoretically work, it may cause trouble down the road as the name in the order doesn’t match the product name.
