Add disable comments on media files attached to posts and pages?

Let me look into this. It shouldn’t be difficult to add in the extra option to close it on media attachments.

Got an estimate on when this might be done? It seems that since I closed my trackbacks and pingbacks, the media issue has been the next level the spammers have exploited. Many MANY thanks in advance.

It’s out as of the past few minutes. v1.5 adds support for custom post types and attachments.

I never want attachment comments. Let the commenter comment on the post.

To shut down the trackbacks and pingbacks, just make sure the “Close Pingbacks/Trackbacks?” is checked and the ticks against post, page, attachments, etc. is checked.

To shut down attachment comments, for now, you can click “Close comments?” and also check “attachments” and it should shut off the comments on attachments. Keep posts and pages unchecked.

I’m still getting comments on media images. I had set the plugin to 10 days with post, pages, attachments, pingbacks and trackbacks to be disabled.

I’m getting comments on images posted 6 months ago.

Is it just the media pages that have the comments enabled? Is it closing properly on posts and pages?
