"Add Download"-Button shows no effect.

    Hello,

    sorry for my bad english, but I am not a native speaker and I`ve got my last english lesson nearly 20 years ago…

    I have installed the plagin, creat a page for my downloads an anything look and works very nice – when I add the shortcodes manually.
    When I use the “Add-Dowload-Button” a Pop-Up-Window appears, and I can choose the file to add it to the page, but nothig happens.

    Can you help me ?

    This sounds like a javascript issue, possibly caused by a conflict with another plugin.

    I’ve just had a quick look and the problem is being caused by CKEditor (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/ckeditor-for-wordpress/) because it replaces the default WordPress content editor.

    I will add support for this plugin in the next update, but until then the shortcode generator will not work.

    Yepp. It works !
    I have deactived the CK-Editor an anything work.

    first your plugin is the best for file downloads. really good work
    I got the same problem with third party plugins. It was the visual composer.
    Im not a programmer but I think the problem data-editor=”content”

    by default both wp-media and downloads buttons are using the same
    data-editor=”content”
    but if activate the visual composer
    it will change be changed like this
    wp- media button data-editor=”wpb_tinymce_content”
    download button is already the same data-editor=”content”

    Have you any workaround?
