• How do I add an email preheader to the emails sending out via Contact Form 7? Right now it must be grabbing something from somewhere because it says “I am a preheader” looks terrible to customers! My other emails from other plugins/my theme work fine after we added some hooks and custom code.

How do you set up email to add a preheader now?

For emails that go out via Automatewoo plugin, there is a setting on the backend to customize the preheader for each individual email. Same for Woocommerce (“Additional content”) and Active Campaign. For emails that go out via my theme I had to add custom hooks on the backend. I see for CF7 there is a field “Additional Headers” but I already have Reply-To: [your-email] in that spot. Can I have more than one thing?

I don’t think the Automatewoo plugin has some ability to add a preheader to Contact Form 7 messages.

For emails that go out via my theme I had to add custom hooks on the backend.

Can you be more specific about this? What hooks are they?

We had to do something like this for theme emails where there was no way to customize Preheader. I was just wondering if there was any way to customize Preheaders within Contact Form 7 interface, maybe I have just not been able to find it. Otherwise, would this work for CF7 or break it.

I have no idea what this code does.

Ok thanks. Ultimately my question is, is there any way to add Preheader text?
