Add Emoticons in Future Version?

    I see that in the current version of Wise Chat that there is no way to add emoticons. The only options are the 4 built-in emoticon sets. To be honest, I’m not all that impressed with any of them.

    Will the ability to add emoticons or emoticon sets be available in a future version? Perhaps to the Pro version? I would be willing to pay for this ability.

    The problem with emoticons is that it is hard to find a complete set of emoticons (either free or paid). Usually it is a set of 8-12 large-sized emoticons, but this is much lower then required for Wise Chat. I would definitely add more emots if there were nice sets available.

    I would also implement an option to add custom emoticons, but it is hard to find a place for them. If they were stored under wp-content/plugins/wise-chat folder they would be deleted after the plugin would be updated.

    As you can see it is not so easy.

    You can add your own emoticons in Pro version of Wise Chat. It’s available since version 1.6.
