add entries for Fax and Cellphone numbers in settings and multiple locations

    Most companies these days don’t have 1 number , they have a fixed number , cellphone and or fax number.

    I do have the code to add this to the first location in settings (you also have that code from the time you took over the plugin).

    Would be nice if we can have it standard active in the plugin (also for multiple locations)

    I will try to figure out the locations one too. But prefer that you guys do it as you know the plugin a lot better.
    It should be very easy to implement , just copy paste the phone one and change wording to fax and cellphone ??

    changed it , not complete yet as css is not done and no clue about widget and gutenberg issues.
    but the shortcode works

    This is compatible with multiple location.

    What did I do : copy paste all entries from the phone field I could find and changed the fields to cellphone and fax.

    When will this be changed in your plugin ?
    If not i will need to keep changing your version with each release (I don’t like to reinvent the wheel ?? )

    Unfortunately, it isn’t something we’ve been able to look into yet. We do have it added as a suggested feature. This doesn’t mean that it will for sure make it into the plugin or, if it does, that we’ll be able to do it in the near future. That being said, we do intend to review your version, to see if it makes sense to add it or something similar in. We just haven’t done that investigation yet.

    there is no impact on older versions as these fields are put standard on not visible.

    I understand that you want this added in ASAP, but we would still have to verify your code anyway, so I can’t provide a timeline for when feature requests will be decided on and/or included.

    NOT location usable , only for the main location (for now).
    This is an extra plugin to use when you can’t wait for the official support but still want to use the Five Star Business plugin.

    Adds the cellphone , whatsapp and fax number.

    Add the css to you child theme. Currently you need to use !important to override the contact-card.css , but working on a function to not load that one.

    thx for adding this in , makes my plugin (almost) obsolete ??

    For any one who used my plugin besides myself.
    They used show_cell_phone , i did use show_cellphone , same for the field cell_phone instead of cellphone.

    Will change my plugin to remove the fax and whatsapp entry , but for compatibility I will keep the cellphone (together with their cell_phone).

    I have a show_whatsapp_short that only displayed the whatsapp logo and is clickable , will see how to keep that in as this is not available for them , it always has the number visible and the logo is not clickable. It doesn’t work for now.

    The css is still loaded in the footer , so you can’t overrule the css your WP- theme custom css without using !important , so still keeping the change for that but will implement their changes.

    General advice : don’t use my plugin anymore if your happy with their changes , I will slim it really down to just the changes I need (I can’t expect them to suit all my needs ?? )
