Add Event, Recurring Event, Location disappearance from Dashboard

did you already check user capabilities under Events > Settings > General > User Capabilities ?

I also have this problem.
When I’ve tried this wordpress shows me an error and I can’t get out of it: Cannot load event manager options.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

– deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

I don’t want to mess about with it now as it seems to be sorted. The issue must have happened when I deactivated other event plugins and deleted them? The roll back has sorted the issue as the old plugins are no longer there and I have since updated the theme and everything is fine. So maybe it was to do with the deletion of old plugins? I’ll let you know if it happens again and will try what you’ve suggested before I contact you. I don’t like to fiddle too much with changing the theme however as the site is live and it’s a client’s. Thanks.
