Add excerpt to featured post when hovering

Hi,

I would like to know how I can add the excerpt (entry-summary) to show up when hovering over the featured post on the homepage.

I’ve already got a child theme set up with a number of modifications, including centering the title (entry-header) on the featured post. I just don’t know which bit of CSS I need to add and where.

Any pointers would be hugely appreciated. Cheers!
