add excerpt to home page squares

  • I would like to add an excerpt below the squares on the homepage. I have been able to add the excerpt, but it is not visisble since it is under the square, or it it to the right or left.

    I would also like to know how to do this. It would be good if you were able to add some writing from the blog post in a small excerpt underneath the squares and perhaps include a ‘read more…’ link too.
